About Loane Bobillier
Welcome to Studio Loane, a creative space where Loane's contemporary sculptures, painting and design work is exposed through its multi-medium qualities. Loane is a young artist creating visually stimulating pieces that can fit in both the contemporary white cube gallery walls as well as finding its spot in a contemporary household as a centrepiece.
Loane Bobillier is a young professional currently working as a Project Coordinator.

Loane, originally from Switzerland, did not spend a lot of her time in her home country. In 2004, at the age of four Loane, her mother, father and sister moved from Sézenove, Switzerland to rural Shanghai, China.
The strong contrast of Asian culture is often represented in Loane's work through the use of gold leaf to represent the temples surrounding her childhood. Learning Chinese as a second language after her French mother tongue she found herself navigating China with ease, taking in the different smells, sights, culture, food and atmosphere than her European upbringing. She lived in a Chinese community which adopted her family steadily. Not long after, at the age of eight Loane, her father, mother and sister moved once more to a new exciting Asian destination, Singapore.
In 2008 Loane's small family found themselves in a metropolitan of cultural diversity. Singapore became Loane's second home as she started consolidating her English speaking skills in an International School before moving to a British School where she explored and consolidated her love for the Arts by achieving high grades throughout Art GCSE and following with Art and Design A Level. After taking a gap year which happened to be during the COVID-19 pandemic, Loane found herself in Leeds to pursue a Bachelors of Fine Art at Leeds Arts University where she thrived in the artistic environment, achieving her goals of presenting her art in multiple galleries as well as curating and hosting her first Solo Art Exhibition titled 'Squaring The Circle' 2o23 where she also gave an artist talk to a public audience. Loane achieved a First Class Honours for her work.
After finishing University and moving out of a uni house surrounded with eight girls she settled with her partner in Leeds where she started a career as a Project Coordinator. Now Loane uses her free time to pursue her passion for the arts and continues to explore using her past experiences to drive her contemporary work forward.
